Latitude 39 Express is a Salesforce native application and is implemented as a Salesforce Managed Package listed on the AppExchange. Express is installed into your existing Salesforce instance thus your Salesforce security, access and objects permissions, apply to Express.
Since Express is installed and operates within your Salesforce org the data resides within the locale of your existing Salesforce org. Therefore Express' data residency is the same as your Salesforce org data residency.
Express stores application specific data in custom objects within your Salesforce org with object names pre-fixed with XactlyExpress_ . These custom objects are subject to your object permissions settings and should only be written to and read through the use of the Express application.
By default, and in general practice, Latitude 39 has no access to your Salesforce organization and data by design. In the rare case where there's a need for our help Salesforce provides access delegation, controlled by you the customer, where you can grant, with varying durations, and revoke access to us as the publisher of the managed package in order to assist you. This is analogous to how you as a Salesforce customer provide Salesforce support access when needed.
