How to Adjust Sizing for the Opportunity Estimator

What is the Opportunity Estimator

The Opportunity Estimator is a tool provided within the context of Salesforce that enables sales reps to estimate their potential commission for a given Opportunity record in Salesforce. By clicking on the "Calculate Estimate" button, the opportunity will run through the plans defined in Express and return an estimated commission in real-time to the sales rep.

How to Adjust Height of the Opportunity Estimator

We have modified our Opportunity Estimator, giving a new look and feel, incorporating more data and ultimately giving Reps more visibility to their opportunities. If you had the previous opportunity estimator setup, you will have to change the sizing of the opportunity estimator box on the opportunity layout page. Here are the steps to adjust the size.

1. In Salesforce go to Setup > App Setup > Customize > Opportunities > Page Layout

   

2. Edit Opportunity Layout

   

3. In the New Section box hover over the right corner and click the wrench.

   

4. Adjust Height (in pixels) to 400 and click OK

   

5. Click Save
