Deleting Deals

Deals can only be deleted when:

• The system is in the current or future period, based on the deal date. So if the Deal Date is April 2020, but the system is in October 2020, the deal is "locked-in" and cannot be deleted.
• The system is designed to not delete a deal automatically, so if a deal is removed from a CSV upload or Salesforce, it needs to be manually deleted from Express.

To delete deals you will want to:

1. Go to Results > Run Calculations > Show Steps
2. Click "Made a Mistake" > Undo All Steps

NOTE: When it comes to undoing calculations, it will not affect the credits, payments, or manual adjustments for that current period, however, it will delete all results and you will need to re-release any holds. A deal cannot be deleted without undoing calculations, as once calculations run they essentially “lock” the deal into the system.

1. Once calculations are showing a gray checkmark go to Results > Manage Deals
2. If you want to delete all deals select "Delete All Deals". If you are wanting to delete a specific deal, search for the deal(s)
3. To the left of the line item details click the check box to select the deal you would like to delete
4. Click "Delete Selected Deals"

Once the deal is deleted you can re-run calculations under Results > Run Calculations > Run All Steps, as well as re-release any holds.
