Creating New XC Tabs in Salesforce

Custom Tabs

1. Go to Salesforce > Build > Create > Tabs
2. Under "Custom Object Tabs" click "New"

Step 1: Enter the Details:

1. In the drop down menu select:
   Object: **select the tab you would like to create**
   Tab Style: Your choice of icon
2. Click Next to continue

Step 2: Add to Profiles

1. Click Next > Under the option "Apply one tab visibility to all profiles " select "Tab Hidden"
2. Change the toggle to "Apply a different tab visibility for each profile"
3. Find the profile the user you are impersonating is using.

NOTE: In order to even add this tab, when impersonating, you have to be using the System Administrator's profile. Double-check though.

4. Click Next to continue 

Step 3: Add to Custom Apps

1. Un-select "Include Tabs" all option > select only Xactly Express
   
2. Click Save to finalize tab.
