Adjusting Speed of Calculations

To adjust the speed of calculations, you will need to adjust the batch size. Adjusting the batch size will slow down or speed up calculations. It is recommended to slow calculations down when there are large volumes of deals, plans, or reps. Calculations will timeout or fail if calculations try to run too many batches at a time. At this time, please reduce the batch size.

To adjust the batch size:

1. Go to Results > Run Calculations
2. In the upper right corner select the cogwheel icon
3. You can either speed up or slow down calculations by adjusting the pop-up window options.
   1. Large Plan Calculation Options: Your options are “Calculate All Plans at Once” or “Calculate One Plan at a Time”. Calculation of all plans at once should be used if your plan configuration is standard and you do not receive an error when processing all plans at once. Calculating one plan at a time should be used if your plan configuration is complex and your calculations generate an error when processing all plans at once.
   2. Batch Size Calculation Options: Credit, Payment, Release, and Finalize 200 is the maximum batch size. We don't recommend going lower than 10. For deleting batches, the max is 20. We don't recommend going lower than 5.
4. Save/Close > Return or undo calculations as desired
