Salesforce Reporting on Currency Fields
Express relies on Salesforce reporting structure in order to build reports. This means that all functionality of reports is dependent and controlled by Salesforce.
When it comes to reporting, Salesforce will show the default company currency. If Multi-Currency is Turned On in Express, the Salesforce reports will now show two fields for every Currency data type field.
The fields will be labeled at the data type. For example, Currency10 will have two field options:
- Currency10
- Currency 10 (converted)
Currency10 (converted) is produced by Salesforce.
If Express has USD as a default currency for the company and Manage Dated Exchange Rates is turned on in Express and set up in Salesforce, Currency10 looks to the Dated Exchange Rate amounts, where Currency10 (converted) looks to the company default exchange rate.
