Joining Two Salesforce Reports
Not all reports can be joined, but Salesforce does have an option to join some reports. When trying to join two reports, if you are unsure if the reports can be joined, following the below directions will automatically inform you if two reports can be combined. For example XCPayoutDetails and XCCreditResult:
- Go to SFDC > Report > XCPayoutDetails
- Customize > Next to "Tabular" click the drop-down menu and "Joined Format"
- Click "Add Report Type" at the top of the page
- Click "XCCreditResult"
- Drag the fields into each report. NOTE: There will be three sections "Common Fields", "XCPayoutDetail", and "XCCreditResult". The "Common Fields" can only be added in the horizontal row. All other fields can be added to the vertical columns.
