If you need to setup multiple fiscal years at once, it can be done within Salesforce. Calendar information is setup in Salesforce and referenced by Express.
If Express is currently in Fiscal Year 2024, and you need to create Fiscal Years 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 then you need to first clone the current year and update the information for the rest of the years that are going to be created:
1.1. Go to Salesforce and find the XCFiscalYearSettings object.
1.2. Clone the most recent Fiscal Year: Select XCFiscalYearSettings tab>click on the most recent fiscal year created>click on Clone>Change the name, the start date and the end date>Save.
1.3. Only if the XCPeriod list is not being shown
Click on Edit Layout:
In the configurations, click on Related Lists, then drop the XCPeriods to the Related List section:
Click on the Related List properties icon and move the options shown in the screenshot:
Scroll back up and click on save>Click on Yes
1.4. Now you will have to clone the periods (XC Periods), those are: one year, twelve months and four quarters. (That is 17 XC Periods in total)
1.4.1. Create the monthly periods (12 periods), quarterly (4 periods) and the annual period (one period): In a another tab, open the previous FY (for example if you are creating FY 2025 open in another tab FY 2024, open the first monthly period of FY2024 and click on clone, then do the same for the rest of the monthly periods, by cloning the second monthly period, the third, etc.
1.4.2. Then create the Quarterly Periods (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4), do the same as monthly periods, cloning the quarterly periods, add a character at the end of XCPeriodName and modify the other fields as needed to make it belong to the new FY
1.4.3. Finally, clone the whole Fiscal Year, clone the FY line, add a character at the end of XCPeriodName and modify the other fields as needed like dates to make it belong to the new FY:
1.5. Repeat the above process for each fiscal year that needs to be created.
