Adding a Constant Value of 1 to a Payment Rule Formula

To add the 1, you want to actually create a constant value in your mapping. This will only be in Express and will be on all deals that are imported with that mapping. That will allow you in the formula of the payment rule to multiply by 1.

1. Go to Setup > Define Deal Attribute
2. Select the mapping you use for the reps plan
3. Click "Add Row" 
   Column 1: Number 
   Column 2: In the drop-down menu select "Constant Value" > where it says "Constant" change to "1 " 
   Column 3: Select the pencil icon and type "1 "
4. Save
5. Go back to your payment rule and select the fx button in section F
6. Delete one row so there is only one, change the option to "Numeric Value" and type in the amount you want to pay.
7. In the bottom right of the fx pop up window, where it says "override" select the drop-down menu and "1 "
8. Click Save/Close then save the entire rule again by clicking the floppy disk icon in the upper left.
