Activating Users
Within SFDC and Express you need to have four key items checked before a user can get access to Express:
- Make sure that the user is active in Salesforce. Set up a user in SFDC and activate their account by giving them a SFDC License
- SFDC > Setup>Users>User Detail > Edit
- Check “Active”
- Give a user access to Express by giving them an Express License in SFDC
- SFDC >Setup> Installed Packages > Scroll to Latitude39 Express
- Manage Licenses > Add Users
*If you would like a User to be on a plan, but NOT let them have access to Express, skip #2.
- Add them to the Express application
- SFDC > Express > Setup
- Manage Users
- Checkbox next to the reps name > assign a role
- Assign Express Users to Comp Plans
- Click the Plans tab > Edit Plan > Define Plan
- Select a plan and check the boxes to assign users.
- Click 'Save'
