How to create a clone of a XCPayoutDetails & edit it
Here are some directions for creating a new version of the XCPayoutDetails Report and adding additional fields:
First Open Salesforce and launch the "Reports" tab.
(Directions are in Classic - if the system pushes you to Lightning Reports you can switch back to Classic by clicking on your User on the top right and choosing "Return to Salesforce Classic" from the menu. You will then have to relaunch the "Reports" tab.)
Once in Reports, you will search for XCPayoutDetails under "All Folders" and click on "XCPayoutDetails" report to launch.
In order to keep this stock report fresh for the future, we recommend choosing "Save As" and renaming the report so it saves a duplicate.
Default Filters are below:
The default headers are below. You can change the dates the system is looking at in the "Time Frame" box on the top right. Keeping "Date Field" as Period, but changing the dates themselves (From / To) to be what you need.
If you need to add additional fields to the report headers you will click "Customize" and search for the field needed in the "Quick Find " box that opens on the left side of the screen. You can either double click on the field to add it to the right of the right-most column, or drag and drop it into the report where needed.
To add a filter (ex: using Owner or Plan to narrow your results) on the top either grab the field from the report by the header and drag it into the white box underneath "Date Field " (where the other filters are located) or search for it in the "Fields" box and drag it into the filter area. You can nest data in this report by dragging the field (in the same fashion as filters) to the blue area below the headers "Drop a field here to create a grouping".
Note: Using Plan Name (if looking at one user) or "Owner" (if looking at multiple users) can help to clarify what is in the report.
If you add in a filter for a specific user you can "Save As" the report to keep this (For Example XCPayoutDetails -Jane Doe has a filter that says "Owner = Jane Doe"), and then edit the name in the filter to create the report for the next person, and then "Save As" to save this as a new report. This may save you time.
