Cannot Divide by Zero Error in Calculations
This error can be seen when running calculations. It is caused by a formula either in credits or payments that have the denominator of the equation equal to 0. To correct this, check the following:
- Credit rule section E. If “Split Percentage” produces a 0 for credits, this can cause the error.
- Payment rule section F. The most common formula uses divide by Quota in it, but any formula which the denominator as 0 will cause the error.
- Payment rule section F. If the qualifiers have a formula that divides by 0, for example, if the formula in the qualifier says to divide by attainment in the current period, but the attainment rule has 0 credit, then it will cause the error.
